Tile Carving Workshop & Take Home

Class Description

Explore tile carving by learning about traditional Cambodian ornamental motifs and different carving techniques used to make Khmer tiles. During this workshop you will learn how to create your own design and carve it onto a tile. We'll help you start your work and then you can take home to finish at your pace. Drop off when you are done for our staff to fire and glaze. We'll provide three tiles and a carving tool to borrow, Finished work will be ready to pick up in about 2 weeks after drop off.This is a one day, 1.5 hour session. Guest Instructor: Valerie
