Commonwealth Clayworks is a teaching pottery studio. We work to create a welcoming community by connecting people through clay.

Clayworks Companion program enables senior citizens and people with limited mobility the ability to participate comfortably in our studio with a companion-helper. This program is supported in part by a grant from the Somerville Arts Council, a local agency supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council.

Clayworks is a beginner-focused studio dedicated to teaching foundational skills in ceramics. Our structured approach helps you learn quickly while having fun. Most classes have a four week format to fit into your busy schedules and to provide an affordable entry point into experiencing ceramics.
