Commonwealth Clayworks is a pottery studio offering classes and studio membership. We work to create a welcoming community by connecting people through clay.

Clayworks Companion program enables senior citizens and people with limited mobility the ability to participate comfortably in our studio with a companion-helper. This program is supported in part by a grant from the Somerville Arts Council, a local agency supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council.

our community

Membership allows people with pottery experience access to the studio to work independently during member hours. The studio vibe is that we are primarily a learning studio for beginners. Membership community is built on desire to learn from and teach one another.  More on Memberships.
